Can I use Soundscope when I already have a hearing problem?
Yes. Soundscope Plus comes in two versions. In the basic version there is a maximum amplification of 20 dB. There is also a more advanced version which can supply up to 30 dB amplification.
Can Soundscope Plus be used in all kinds of weather?
Yes. Soundscope Plus can be used in all kinds of weather. Although it can not be submerged in water or left out in the rain.
Does Soundscope Plus reduce sounds as good as ear-muffs?
Comparative tests maid shows that the reduction level is fully comparable to most of the better ear-muffs. Both Sounscope Plus and better ear-muffs protects your hearing provided that they are being used. The protection result depends on a god fit and that the Soundscope Plus is mounted correctly. Can my hearing be damaged if I use hearing protectection
There can never be any guarantee that hearing-impairments not will occur. This goes for all types of hearing protections. Ear-muffs can for example leak if you are wearing glasses, having a beard or turn the head strongly. Moulded insets as Soundscope Plus can lead if you move the jaws strongly. When shooting some Magnum calibres with sound levels up to 180 dB, moulded insets/ear-plugs can be combined with ear-muffs.
Which batteries are used by Soundscope?
The batteries are ordinary hearing aid batteries in size 13. Either zinc-air batteries or silver oxide batteries can be used.
How do I clean my Soundscope Plus?
A brush i bi-packed at delivery. If wax has got stuck, wait until it has dried and then brush it of. Do not use water or soap solutions since this can get in to the electronic parts.
In what colours do Soundscope Plus come?
The front (plate, batteri compartment, volume control) is made in khaki-green. Microphone/telecoil connector is made in cacao brown. Regarding the ear-plug, Soundscope Plus comes in blue, red, orange and can also be made transparent.
